    Details:

    Enjoy a winter circuit walk with a warming hearty lunch at the Austrian Club in Frenchs Forest, before returning to Seaforth Oval. We descend from the Oval via The Timbergetters Track to Bantry Bay. The Bay Track is then followed to the base of the Bluff before ascending the bush track and stone steps for extensive views to the east over Bantry Bay. It is then only a short walk to the Austrian Club on a bush track and fire trail. After lunch, the walk back to the Oval is almost flat via quiet roads, fire trails and a short walk on a bush track. There is an opportunity to view aboriginal engravings on the way. No half and half please. You must do the walk before lunch. Open to members and their partners.

    Enjoy a leisurely late morning Winter walk from Artarmon Station via Flat Rock Creek, Tunks, Primrose, Anderson Parks via Milsons Point and crossing the Harbour Bridge to NSW Government House for live jazz@The House! This month we're celebrating the Kings Birthday with 2 Jazz ensembles from the State’s best Service Bands who will perform in the relaxed ambience of the Government House Gardens. Music begins from 12pm with further sets at 1pm and 2pm – all free of charge! Government House is open for free viewings from 10am to 3pm. Joint activity with The Bush Club.

    Details:

    This walk will follow Terrys Creek from its source in Eastwood to the Lane Cove River. Then along the Great North Walk to the Lane Cove Weir before ascending via Blue Gum Creek to Chatswood. A mixture of bush tracks, board walk and fire trails, with just a small street section at either end! The bush tracks may be muddy and will have tree roots and exposed boulders. There are two creek crossings, at Terrys Creek (shouldn't be a problem) and the Lane Cove River, where those with a little balancing issue may choose to cross in bare feet rather than getting wet shoes/boots!! We will finish in Chatswood where we can have a refreshing drink (Orchard Hotel) and meal (for those interested) or close to transport for those who want to keep going. Numbers limited, joint walk with Meet Up Group and weather dependent!

    Details:

    The 5 Lands Walk is an annual physical, spiritual and cultural journey along 10km of spectacular coastline linking five villages on the NSW Central Coast. It is an experience as well as a walk with involvement in various activities along the journey. In previous years there have been buses from Ettalong, in which case we can catch a ferry from Palm Beach. Otherwise, train and bus will be an option.     This is a casual one way walk starting at Mascot Station for those interested in the newish cycle and walking path at the back of the airport, joining Mascot, Cooks River and Botany Trails. Ideal for plane spotting. We will be meandering on paths from the back of the airport, past parks, market garden and along to beach paths. All on paved or dirt paths. Stop at Brighton Le Sands Beach, before lunch at Dolls Point and back to Carlton for train return or early exit from Brighton Le Sands via bus.

Meeting at Milsons Point Station we'll cycle on the NEW Harbour Bridge Indigenous designed cycle ramp with a view over the NEW North Sydney Pool and then via Barangaroo we'll head to the NEW Fish Markets for a light lunch before heading via the Anzac Bridge & Rozelle Bay and onto the NEW GreenWay Cycle Track and finally via Olympic Park to Meadowbank.

    Denise and I will be walking the Grand Cliff Walk over 2 days staying overnight on Saturday night at Leura.  You can join us for one day or both days. This activity is for members and their partners only. This walk is on well-marked bush tracks with views of the Jamieson Valley. This is a Grade 3 walk and will be challenging.   We are staying overnight at the Comfort Resort in Leura.

    Details:

    Join us for a walk in Bouddi National Park Central Coast. Starting from Pretty Beach, we’ll complete a loop that takes us down to Lobster Beach and out to Box Head, winding through native bushland with spectacular coastal scenery. We then continue on to Killcare before returning to Pretty Beach along the Brisbane Waters waterfront reserve. The track includes paved paths, bush tracks, fire trails, road sections, and waterfront reserve. Some bush tracks are rocky and there are a few short, steep sections including the stairs leading down to Lobster Beach, but the pace will be relaxed.
